Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Draft. This policy hasn’t been reviewed yet and may change before Prosigo launches.

In short:

Who we are

Prosigo is made by 17logic, the one-person app studio of Cristian Mejia, based in Japan (“we”, “us”). For anything about your data, write to support@prosigo.app.

Data that stays on your phone

Your notes, bookmarks, reading progress, the days you’ve used the app, and your settings are stored on your iPhone. iOS protects them with its built-in file encryption. We can’t see them unless you turn on backup and sync.

If you create an account

An account is optional. You need one only for backup and sync between devices, which is part of Prosigo Pro.

Data Why we need it
Email address To create your account, sign you in, and send verification and password-reset codes
Apple user ID (if you use Sign in with Apple) To sign you in. If you choose “Hide My Email”, we only see Apple’s relay address
Notes, bookmarks, reading progress, days you used the app, settings To back them up and keep them in sync between your devices
Subscription status To know whether your account has Prosigo Pro

We use this data only to provide these features. We don’t use it for advertising or profiling.

Your faith is private

Notes and reading activity in a Bible app can reveal your religious beliefs. We treat them as sensitive:

Subscriptions

Purchases are made through Apple. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check your subscription status. It receives an identifier for you (anonymous, or your account ID if you’re signed in) and your purchase history from Apple.

Crash reports

When the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a report to Sentry so we can fix the problem. A report contains technical details: the error, device model, iOS version, app version, and your account ID if you’re signed in. It never contains your notes or Bible text.

Service providers

Provider What it does Data it processes
Amazon Web Services (USA) Hosts our servers and database Account data and synced data
Apple App Store purchases, Sign in with Apple Purchases, Apple sign-in
RevenueCat (USA) Checks your subscription status Identifier, purchase history
Sentry (USA) Crash reports Technical error details, account ID

We don’t sell or share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Where your data is stored

Account and synced data is stored with Amazon Web Services in Oregon, USA. If you live outside the United States, your data is transferred there. It’s encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

How long we keep it

Deleting your account

In Prosigo, go to Settings → Backup & sync → Delete account. This deletes your account and everything stored with it on our servers, and removes your record at RevenueCat. You can choose to keep a copy of your notes on your phone. You can also ask us by email.

Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone’s settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to object to or limit how we use it. Write to support@prosigo.app and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Prosigo isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.

This website

prosigo.app doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking, and doesn’t keep visitor logs.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect.
