Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Draft. These terms haven’t been reviewed yet and may change before Prosigo launches.

Agreement

These terms apply when you use Prosigo, the iPhone app, and its online services (together, “Prosigo”). Prosigo is made by 17logic, the one-person app studio of Cristian Mejia, based in Japan (“we”, “us”). By using Prosigo you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to it. Where the two differ about the licence to use the app, the Standard EULA applies.

Your account

You can use Prosigo without an account. If you create one, keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Prosigo Pro

Prosigo is free to read. Prosigo Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features, such as side-by-side translations, reading progress and sync.

Your notes

What you write in Prosigo is yours. We store it only to provide backup and sync, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Using Prosigo

Please don’t misuse Prosigo. For example, don’t try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to our services, and don’t use them for anything illegal.

Bible texts

The Bible translations in Prosigo are in the public domain:

Changes and availability

We keep improving Prosigo, so features can change. We may suspend or end the online services (such as sync) with reasonable notice. If we do, the data on your phone stays available.

No warranty

Prosigo is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Prosigo Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using Prosigo and delete your account at any time (Settings → Backup & sync → Delete account). We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court has jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law of your country gives you the right to use your local courts.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect.
